Love the build and how its coming along. Looking great! I do have a question about the prints though. For the second floor you have a large area that is designed to be storage/unfinished on the second floor between the RV garage and living area. Where is the access door for this?
graph paper or sketchup. When I designed my barn I did it initially on graph paper to get an idea what I wanted then created it in sketchup for fine tuning and layout with vehicles, pallet racking, and camper inside. Worked out very well
Busy as usual working on stuff inside the barn. Currently tearing down the buggy for a bunch of changes and paint while hanging out with the puppies. Picked up 115 sheets of foam board to put up into the walls. In the next two months we plan on putting up over 1200 ft of fence so the dogs can...
Mine is 50x80 enclosed with an extended roof line and garage doors along with long wall so I can utilize all the spaces better without having to move to many items to get to another.

As it was mentioned. Call the township or city building department to see what the restriction are for that parcel. You'll be able to tell quickly if you are able to do it or not. In my area I am able to put a total of 20% of my property under a roof with hardly any restrictions. Many places...
Its not all done yet. Still need insulation and finishing of the second floor and deck. Probably another 30k and should be set. A lot of the work I have done myself with help of family and friends. That's the biggest savings, just takes time.
Saving and home equity line of credit for our building that is 50x80x16 with 16' wide overhang and 1,600sq ft second floor which is what the wife wanted for extra storage. Only reason we didn't hold out on waiting longer to build it is because wife wanted to have our wedding in our barn. Have...
Wow been about a year since I been in this thread. Just got back from a 1 year assignment in Chicago that wife came with me on followed by a month off traveling around out west (Badlands, Black Hills, Idaho sand dunes, Yellow stone). Not much has changed in the shed other than a few projects for...
Currently have a pole building that's 50'x80' enclosed with a 16' overhang where the access to the second floor will be. I put 5 over head doors along the long wall (north wall) with each bay being pre-determined for what would be inside. Have conduit under the concrete going all over the shed...
You already have the experience I would for sure be giving it a shot and could come out really good looking, comfortable, and functional on top of it all
