    the male 1/2" is centered, and factory, it has a detent ball as well, that part is spring loaded and when pushed down, it engages matching grooves inside. when extended it is free spinning

    found this yesterday at a yard sale, it is about 7-1/2" long, has "pats. pend." stamped on it, and a logo that has 2 E's back to back. on the "pincer" end, one side has been hammered over to form a lip. my best guess for it's use is to hold a nut in a small area so you can start your bolt, but...

    it is, but i can't find any info about it,. what i have been able to find out is that from 1927 to 1933 plomb tools should have a number stamped to represent year of manufacture this does not have that. i found a list of patents for 1927, but could not locate it there either.

    hello, new to the forum. i just picked this up at an estate sale today, any body ever see one? i cant find any info on it at all. markings say "plomb tool co. los angeles" and "pickup plier pat 11-1-27"
