Bulwark

I piddle around with rusty, splintery, banged up, really cool old tool every day and sometimes make a dollar or two for my efforts. I’m no expert. I’m always learning (and just as fast, or faster, forgetting). I know a little about a few things and a whole lot about nothing. That’s why I finally decided to finally join after lurking for years.

I hope to strike up a conversation or two, maybe make myself useful, and hopefully learn something along the way. I’ve also got things in my possession that I’ve absolutely no idea what they were called, what they did, who used them, or when. I hope to get some help with those things from time to time.

oh, and by the way: I’m not in Albania. I am a North American, US Army veteran of ten years, one month, and five days, disabled, and medically discharged at the height of my career. I dearly love the principles for which our flag stands and which our Constitution embodies. Much more of this current ****, however, and this former bulwark of freedom is a-gonna hightail it to somewhere that is at least predictably insane.
