I just started one for my boy (1.5 years). Not quite on the scale you have, but I'm gonna redo my dads 60's 2 drawer Craftsman, and stock it. So when he's ready:)
Here's mine. Still a few empty drawers:lol: The small red stack is empty and the charcoal small chest is empty. The older small silver chest is full of overflow Craftsman tools, and I have a small old K-Mart box that is full of random tools. Yes I need to go shopping.
3/4" Drive Rachet for $20. Went to the store for paint/plumbing stuff and found this. They are switching from "Do it Best" to "ACE" so all DO it Best tools are half off. I know I could have got a set off ebay for $40 more but....it was looking right at me:lol:
I found a few neat things in my search today. The drill I believe was my Grandfathers, stored in a Park Tool box, one speed by the Mall Drill company, the other is anyone's guess. I painted to look neat.
Fun Sunday.
This is one of several I saved from eternal rot in my dads shed. Since this is my first Im starting small. I have already hit it with a wire brush go to sand next. Still undecided on color. Good way to spend a Sunday :)
Thanks guys! I thought that, but I was stuck on why you would use it on a bar? I know what I use bars on and I don't think this would hold up;). Never thought of the speed handle thing, now I know.
