I've purchased a bunch of the Harbor Freight hardware storage boxes but you could easily do this with storage containers like Dewalt.
I literally just finished sorting tonight and now I'm getting ready to build the cabinet to hold the cases.
I also use a few of the cases as tool storage...
I purchased a Kwikset exterior door handle around the same time as you for the door between the garage and the house. A few weeks ago I started noticing that the handle was turning but the internal parts were not turning.
I reached out to them last Saturday and put my phone number into their...
Home Depot has a pretty nice 3/4" pine plywood that's sanded on both sides and has tons of plys. If your going to paint the cabinets it's a good choice. I've made a trailer box and a few cabinets from it and they're holding up great. Plus they are $35 a sheet.

This was a few days before Christmas but I managed to build this TARDIS in the garage without my son knowing about it.

I was considering conduit in my garage until I realized it was going to cost me twice as much for the materials. I simply measured the height of the "old work" boxes, snapped a level line at the top and bottom and ran my circular saw set to 5/8". I pull the drywall nails within the 3 1/2 strip...

After 2 years of no changes to the garage I finally got the bug to work on more storage solutions.
The first thing I got started on was to re-do the ball/helmet storage bin, my kids never used the old bin because it was to hard for them to get past the 2 motorcycles in the way. My solution was...
I put my storage system up 2 years ago and they are still working perfectly, I haven't had much time or money to work on the garage itself over the past 2 years but I'm getting re-energized after lurking on this site again for the past 3 weeks...
I've had a HF 4x8 for 10 year by far the best $400 dollars ever spend. It's Light enough for my 12 year old to move around yet I've hauled 1800 lbs of sand, 800 lbs over the limit (the guy loading it is an idiot). It has a plywood deck and sides and after 10 years of being in the weather the...

I didn't build the truck, bike, cabinets, shovel, or the compressor, you can download what others have already built and shared in the warehouse. The whole project took me 3 hours.
There is a coupon in the coupon book that starts tomorrow, usually if you ask the cashier they will scan the coupons from the book they have at the check out.
