    fireplace screen glass door shattered

regular glass and tempered glass dont work well with the fireplace. tempered might last a little longer, but it just doesnt like the temperature changes that enviroment provides. I just got new glass for my stove, I cant remember the trade name of it, but its meant to withstand the temp changes.

Cleaning rust from a tow chain

We used to take our rusty/crusty chains to the sanddunes with us. A quick run in the truck with the chains in tow and they were as good as new!

Im renting a manufactured house from my brother, and in its current heating situation, firing up the electric furnace bumps the power bill about $500 a month. I need to do something to remedy that a bit. I was going to add a wood stove in the middle of the house, but thats turning out to be a...

Polishing aluminum intake and carb bodies

We did all sorts of everything. Mainly small precision stuff. I dug the job, but a lot of the work got shipped to China about 10 years ago and there just hasnt been a demand for a mold polisher in the area since. My claim to fame is the thing on the handle of the Clorox Ready Mop that holds...

Polishing aluminum intake and carb bodies

I used to polish plastic injection molds, and Torque1st has the right idea. use one grit and get all your scratches going one way then clean it very well and go perpendicular to that until the previous grits scratches are gone. Dont focus on getting the middle of an area done, but work towards...

    Lyon storage cabinet/Toolboxes

Donald, OR is right next to Aurora, OR. Wierd. And, having been through Donald many a time for work, I had no clue anything but truckstops, a Napa warehouse and a bbq trailer were there.
