I will be needing a timing light for adjusting my 1986 Mariner 90hp outboard. The motor is a 6 cylinder without distributor but has adjustable timing and advance. I would like the light to have a tach, so not the simplest one but not to complicated and be very bright as the timing has to be...
I went to CHPOWER.com and my model VT6195 manual does not list a duty cyle for the motor or the pump, I believe the aluminum plate will have the duty cyle for the motor, but I don't recall anything on the pump other that a stamped model number in the cast iron.
* Assuming you have a 100% duty motor (which I know i don't) your pump will be fine operating continuously?
* I am not at home so I don't know what my duty cycle is but say it was 50% does that mean 30 minutes run time then 30 minutes cool off period?
* So the electric motor is the weak...
What would be a recomended interval to run my CH 60 gal, single stage, oil lubricated compressor at once. I will be sanding my car with a DA that states 4 cfm, I'm sure it probably eats a little more. So if it cycles once a minute should I sand for 30 minutes then take a 30 minute break, or 45...
Home depot has both 4100K for $5.99 4footers 2 pack or 6000K $6.99 for a 2 pack. The specs give a higher CRI for the 6000K but are lower by 800 lumens. They do not have 5000K in a T-8 version only T-12? What would you use in your garage?
I am using a combination of 3/4 black pipe and 3/4 copper pipe for my garage distribution line. Should I use teflon tape, pipe dope, a combination of teflon tape with pipe dope ontop, or some new teflon paste that I have heard about but never actually seen. I would like the connections to leak...
I have not set up my husky 60gal single stage compressor yet, I will be piping the garage with 30 feet of 3/4 copper lines. The manual says to run the compressor with the drain open for 30 minutes to break in the compressor, this would run it under almost no load. Do you recomend this with the...
I failed to mention the walls are open studs, the wood excluding the ceiling rafters and lvl for the loft are 60+ years old and a very dark red to brown with some black spots. I plan to prime with Kilz 2 because I don't like the cleanup of oil based paints in my sprayer.
I built an 8x20 loft for my 20x20 garage the back part has 6'8" floor joist height for the ceiling and is completely dark now with no lights, before I run the electrical for new lights I would like to paint this area for more efficient lighting. I read that flat white has the most reflective...
