Hi. I have also read many articles on the foil insulation. In North Eastern Alberta, People Do not use it unless it is layered in between the 2 sperate inches of styrofoam insulation. I chose to insulate my Pad but not heat it because of humidity concerns. My 2 cents. Chris.
