Well, it sold for $140 so definetly worth more than todays scrap price. He was going to use it for a display piece around a wine room. He'd been looking for a very large chain and was super happy with it so all's well that ends well :thumbup:
Trying to find out if this was used on a ship or on a boom to lift heavy stuff. Each link is 1" thick cross section and 5" long. Total length of chain is approximately 16 feet long with hook. Also trying to find out what its worth. The gloves in photo are XL; this is some heavy duty chain.

Finally yanked this propane powered Continental Red Seal V8 generator out of the steel building; my 50hp tractor was working hard thats for sure. When Rocco was alive he had me come over once to help out and we almost got it to start. I'd like to sell this to someone who will properly restore...
