You hit the nail right on the head! I'm just an amateur DIYer. My late father was a construction worker and carpenter from the 70's until he passed in '01. Just trying to go through all his tools and see what's worth fixing or not. I repaired his Bosch Bulldog for less that $20!

Tap may have been the wrong word LOL! Tried that, as well a heated with a propane torch and tried removing with a pipe wrench. All that and it just cracked the adaptor. The bit's still in tight! Oh well.

I tried letting some penetrating oil work on them overnight, then try tapping them out. They never budged. Might have to just buy some new adapters.

I can see just the bottom of the bit when looking through the side hole of the adapter. Tried everything I know how including tapping on an Allen wrench to get it to come out with no luck.

Can anyone tell me how to remove / install hammer drill bits from an SDS adapter? Someone once told me I needed a tool to do it, but I don't seem to have one with my bits, and I don't know what it would look like. Pictured is one of my bits within an adapter and one without, for reference...

Can anyone help me find if urethane band saw tires are available for my porter cable 725 type 3 band saw? I'm not having luck with my search. I've only seen replacement ones with the grooves. Hoping to find the urethane ones since the replacements dry-rot. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Can anyone help me with finding a Blue Hawk SGY-NS8 manual? I recently acquired one that already had some nails and works well, but the labels are well-worn, and I'm not sure what size nails / staples it uses, other than what was in it. It seems that they were sold by Lowe's and are 18 gauge.
