That sounds like what I did to my Sperry DM5300 only I tried to check my electric fence.. Now all I get on the screen is O.L... :)

A real old timer that likes to tinker with tools and have done a lot of it. Not always with good results.. Tested my electric fence with my Sperry DM5300 and now all I get is O.L. on the read out. Have a new meter but would like to fix this one. Any hints where I should start besides sending...
