Free sanding discs from Benchmark Abrasives

They don't ****, IMHO. I'd say comparable to Norton, inferior to 3M Cubitron. We don't use a lot from Benchmark because we're mostly working with wood & composites, and they're geared more towards metalworking. But what have used seems pretty good. We mostly use Klingspor and 3M Cubitron...

Red Label, Klingspor, 3M Cubitron when the job justifies it, Milwaukee when I'm at Home Depot and need it now. One thing I learned is that they have a short shelf life (< 2-3 yrs). The adhesive at the joint ages quickly and fails. One rep told me 18-24 months.

While it would be nice if they honored that price, it does look a lot like a pricing error. Seems like they couldn't decide between BOGO (50% off) and a straight 40% off, and ended up applying both for 70% off. 70% off is an awfully deep discount for something not on clearance.

All the online stores are just taking pre-orders. They don't seem to have made it out into the wild yet.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I really like the DeWalt (shhh) carbide blades. $20/50pk more or less. Last much much longer. I haven't noticed them as initially less sharp than HSS blades, though I've heard that claim. Doesn't take long before they're much sharper than a HSS blade of the same age.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Well I see the Milwaukee version is inch instead of metric like the Knipex, so it has that going for it :ROFLMAO: More seriously, I really like the lever extension of the button that Hazet and Klein use. Too bad Milwaukee didn't go that route. I often reach for the 10" Klein before the Knipex...

Those are good bits at a good price, though my augers have gotten pretty dusty since I started using Bosch self-feed spade bits in a hex impact driver. The spade bits don't handle embedded nails as well as these augers. Embedded drywall screws will kill either bit.

    Home Depot deals/sales/clearance

$131 is the clearance price near me, so prices do vary. I've been thinking this could be a great systainer/packout dolly with a base plate adapter. I'm surprised they don't offer a baseplate with it for the Ryobi Link boxes.
