Well - found another issue with this little guy. Went to mount it and the bottom of the darn thing is not flat - rocks about 1/16" side-to-side.
Now - I could just shim it, easy way, or I can stick it on the mill and mill it flat. Decisions, decisions.
Recently found this vise welded to a 1" thk steel plate - covered in grunge. Cut the tack welds and got the vise off. Did not realize just how messed up this was until I cleaned it up. At some point it had broke and then been brazed. Cleaned it up - ground the brazing where it was interfering...
