    Garage Just Finished!

I'm curious about the material used on your ceiling. It appears to be like a refective heat shield type material. Could you elaborate for us? Looks great BTW, thanx for sharing. Jeremy

    Nuts and Bolts

As far as storage of nuts and bolts goes, here is what I did. I saved about 35 or 40 baby food jars, when my daughter was in that stage. Then I took a piece of plywood that is the same size as the bottom footprint of my wall hanging cabinets. Then I screwed the lids to the plywood, and mounted...

    Guess That Tool

The 2nd one looks like a preset torque wrench. It tightens to a predeterminned torque setting, then it breaks away. Am I close? Jeremy

    My Raceshop/ barn

How much is a door like that? That would be nice if you have a lift right in front of the door. That's kinda what i'm faced with. I won't be able to open a conventional door with a car up on the lift. Jeremy

    Socket and wrench holders?

At the place I used to work, we built the molds for these. I did alot of the EDM work on those molds. I have a few sets that were tryout parts. They are ok in my opinion. I probably would never buy them, because I think they are kinda flimsy when loaded down. They will only fit in a deep drawer...

few pics of the new Countertops.. (workbench)

I've thought about doing that. I saw a sale flyer where they had 4 foot sections of counter top for about $10. That really got me thinking about it. Prefabbed counter tops are reasonably priced at the big home improvement stores. At my old house, I recovered the kitchen counter tops with new...

    Radient floor heat

I'm in the planning stages of building another garage, and i'm dead set on radient floor heat. One question I have is, do you need a water source near by to top off the system from time to time? We have a closed circut water chilling system at work, and it occasionally needs topping off, just...

best way to remove oil from concrete???

Easy-off oven cleaner works good for me. Just don't leave it on too long or it will stain also. Just keep a close eye on it and you'll be ok. Jeremy

    ideas for hiding furnace/water heater?

If you frame a wall around them, you could cover the studs with peg board and make use of the wasted space. Good luck with whatever you do! Jeremy
