The lock that holds the blades in the open/closed position was broken. I tested them yesterday and they seem to cut fine. No brand...

RichieP, How much room between the boxcar and the house? Do you get to keep the forklift? Do you anticipate electric in the future? I’m sorta partial to the Chessie rail line symbol. That’s the tracks that run by my house. It was replaced by a new symbol.

    Jackson's Garage build/projects

Nice save on the garage. There’s been a couple of GJ members who documented their garage rebuilds similar to yours. I’ll try to find them and post links later today.

My neighbor’s just had the floors refinished getting it ready to sell. The contractor had to patch 2-3 places. Your work looks great and has “character”!

Just too much to loose if the neighborhood losers are out. My neighborhood has had 2 catalytic converters and a Dodge Charger stolen this summer. What kind of rental vehicle did your insurance cover?

It feels great to get the steps installed. No more lugging materials up ladders. You have to out them in, so sooner the better.

That’s going to be a good looking shop when you’re done with the floor. Did anything come in through the open back door to leave tracks?

Dan Anyway to elevate it? Whenever my parent house had water come into the basement, I would take the 2 rugs outside in the driveway to dry in the sun and then lay them out in the shed to finish Drying.
