Well, I'm not going to get into a ******* match about what's better ... because in the end, it's WHAT WORKS - and I can assure you from first-hand experience, the 2x4 Basics legs work very well for a sturdy workbench or assembly table function. As you can see from the numerous photo examples...

Have you actually seen/held a set of those legs? They're actually very sturdy and strong ... and, unlike wood, they won't rot.
