That 14 gauge wire only good for 15 amps. You should have used 12 gauge wire.

Why is pegboard so disappointing? Am I doing it wrong?

I designed and built the dies that makes the Pegmate clips. That was probably 30 years ago. Still have a bag of them somewhere.

    Ask Rapidair!

Just finished my install of Fastpipe. Tubing cutter leaves a pretty good burr in inside of pipe. The deburring tool that comes in the toolkit doesn't work very well. I used a step drill and it worked like a charm.

    Ask Rapidair!

I started putting up about 600' of 1" Fastpipe in my shop today. I need to go over the top of some electrical conduit. Is is possible to make an offset bend in the Fastpipe with a conduit bender?

How do you twist those square screw extractors?

Be very careful using EZ Outs. If a 3/8" bolt snaps off a 1/4" EZ Out will break off as well. Then you really have trouble on your hands. If the bolt breaks because of over tightening or it is sheared off you have a chance. If it is bottomed out or seized it will probably have to be drilled...

    Drill Press Problem

Most of these small H.P motors are split-phase motors. They have a starting and running winding. The starting winding is automatically removed by a centrifugal switch as the motor accelerates. These switches can go out and not energize the start winding.

Help with attaching vinyl face insulation rolls to metal building ceiling

I purchased the insulation and strapping both from http://www.guardian-distribution.com. They have a local distributor in OKC. They are located all over the US. Check them out. My building does not have the vertical members on the walls like yours does. I am still trying to figure out the best...

Help with attaching vinyl face insulation rolls to metal building ceiling

My metal building originally had blown on cellulose insulation. It had become dark and sooty from the previous owner. A huge hail storm came through and knocked most of it off. I replaced it with 6" vinyl faced fiberglass. I ordered it in width that fit between the purlins and a 3" tape tab on...
