Battery performance or tool performance?

A quick update for those that helped in the process of my decision. I ended up picking this up yesterday. And oh boy what a tool it is. I'm coming for a Ryobi kit so the difference in quality and performance is staggering. That is not to say that the Ryobi is a bad tool, the Ryobi is served me...

I will say backwards compatibility is one thing that is extremely attractive with the Ridgid tools. While other brands play games with new batteries and mounts, Ridgid seems committed to keeping the battery format the same.

I do have a driver... and a drill, recip saw, and HID flashlight. I've wanted a new setup for awhile but I have so many of the Ryobi tools, I've held off until now.

Hopefully someone will correct me if I am wrong. I believe it is simply that the brushless tools are given the "Fuel" tag.
