Its real, at the time only offered to dealers. I have one too.

not yet, looks like a real chore but maybe after we get the motor working correctly.

It has a two speed motor now, just running at 1500 rpm ATM. When my electrician gets back in a couple weeks we will explore getting at least that aspect working properly. Lathe was built for 25 to 2000 rpm

Need a bit of advice here on a lathe i recently purchased. Preface i'm not looking for advice on how to fix it ( vfd etc), just how handicapped i would be to leave it as is. This lathe has an internal gearbox with electric clutches and at the moment only has 6 speeds working. 40, 100, 160...
