Well, it did clean up nicely with some car shampoo and wax. I went for the casters at HF. They were cheap, black, and I don't plan to move the box a lot for now, so it should do for a while.

Thanks ! Any idea how to remove them ? I can't find anything on google with drawers looking like those. It would be quite easier to clean if I could remove the drawers .

Thanks. I was planning to go to HD tomorrow to get some liners, I'll check what they have for casters. The sides are I-beam with an handle on one side. It's my first real toolbox, so I don't have any idea how to tell if it's friction or roller slide. I took a picture, maybe it's useful.
