Well, it did clean up nicely with some car shampoo and wax.
I went for the casters at HF. They were cheap, black, and I don't plan to move the box a lot for now, so it should do for a while.

Any idea how to remove them ? I can't find anything on google with drawers looking like those. It would be quite easier to clean if I could remove the drawers .

The sides are I-beam with an handle on one side.
