I bought one of those new in the mid 70's, still have it and use it, never had an issue, enough power, accurate, crank elevator on the table.

OK, I read this all the time but almost never post, but this is a good one. Surfing C/L and saw an estate sale with tools nearby, so dropped by and bought this 2 x 48 Baldor 1-1/2 hp sander for $80. It's not a horizontal one, I'm just a crappy picture uploader.

I've used SK ratchets since the 60's professionally with no failures, none worn out, no problems.

I have that exact top box, I bought it while working at a Penneys Auto Center in Eugene, Or in 1969. As I recall, the price new was 39.95 less my 15% employee discount. I had that bottom box that the store provided to techs at the same time.
