also, if the garage has tin sheet roofing hows best to insulate it (method)? or will changing to a sheet timber and felt cover roof work better (shed style)? sorry for all the questions but it'll be my first garage

cheers mate, am i right in thinking (insulation wise)?: from the outside in outer wall breather membrane (or just cavity?) battens with kingspan between DPM sheets (osb, ply, plasterboard etc)

if building my own is an option at the time i'll go for timber build, but after ideas for how best to insulate and adapt it to more of a tinkering/work shop. It will not be used to store the car, just to work on it and parts/projects/whatever else i wana do thanks for the link too GBsnoopy
