    Garage Remodel Finally Finished

Finally got the lift in. Now I feel the garage is complete. I chose the Derek Weaver over Titan, Direct Lift, and some other cheaper brands because it had the most features for the money. Customer service was excellent and personal, delivery was prompt, so in the end I am satisfied with it.

    Garage Remodel Finally Finished

I went with the Weaver lift, W-9F. It offered the most features for the money, and their customer service has a great reputation. I wanted black, and the only one I could find that was black was the Titan Elite. The weaver just seems to have better features. 3HP motor instead of 2, standard door...

    Garage Remodel Finally Finished

Everyone says it is. I've not taken a sledge to it like that way-too-good-looking nut Jack, but I have dropped a regular hammer and drill on it. Look at it this way: theres not a showroom in this country at a dealership that doesn't have tile, and lots of service bays do too. sounds just like...

Some during shots. The 4 year old said he wouldn't move until I came in, and my wife helping with grouting. If I would have know the extent of this project going in, I would never have attempted it. I chose not to add up numbers as I went along, but if I had to guess, Id say my initial $5K...

    Garage Remodel Finally Finished

For my Air setup, I installed a compressor in a room in the basement, and hard piped through the wall using ACR. I installed a vibration eliminator, a water separator, and regulators at the compressor and at the reel. I then sound proofed the room using Roxul insulation. You can't hear it in the...

    Garage Remodel Finally Finished

Again, in keeping with the theme of no wires or floor space invasion, i intalled this beverage cooler and recessed 'Garage Vac' by Intervac. It has a 40 ft hose, a floor attachment, and ***** pretty good. It also has bags and a filter, which I like. I installed a High Lift garage door, with a...

    Garage Remodel Finally Finished

I went with the Kobalt cabinets early on, so I just stuck with them. Be sure if you buy them, to get the Made In USA versions, because the Chinese ones don't match them, and the quality is seriously lacking. I installed blocking in the wall so I could mount them directly to the wall, nothing...

    Garage Remodel Finally Finished

I made the decision to do Porcelain Tile over epoxy after reading about potential problems with epoxy systems and whatnot, plus epoxy didn't really go with my "in the house" theme. Should've done epoxy. I have 125 hours minimum in the floor alone, 500 sqft. I could've went to work and paid...

    Garage Remodel Finally Finished

I am a Refrigeration Man by trade, so I had to learn a lot of new skills and buy a lot of new tools to pull this off. I became a carpenter, tile setter, and garage door installer. And a painter. And a drywall guy. Drywall *****. Tile setting is hard tedious work. Especially for a perfectionist...

    Garage Remodel Finally Finished

First off, thanks to everyone who runs this site, posts here, and shares their ideas. You all cost me more money than I could have dreamed of, but in the end it was well worth it. I don't have many 'before pics'. Never thought to take any, because it was just a crappy space, who woulda cared...
