Liftmaster 8500 can't use led bulbs

Check the hertz operating range of the bulbs vs your garage door frequency...it could affect the operation when they are illuminated. I had installed some led's in my garage door opener, and I couldn't get it to close the door when they were on (when I would back out to leave). Coming home it...

    Angle torque wrench

You really don't even need a angle torque wrench...just one for the initial torque, then mark the head of the bolt and figure out the degrees using the points on the bolt head, then mark the cylinder head or whatever to where you need to turn it to. 6 point = 60 degrees from point to point, 12...

LED lights...garage door remote won't work

I had the same issue as the O.P. Turns out the LED bulbs operate in a frequency range of 30-400 hertz, the garage door opener operates between250-450 hertz (my numbers might be off a little), but what this means is the bulbs and garage door opener are interfering with each other. I switched to...

Help me identify my house A/C unit...

House was built in 1993, I have owned it for 2.5 years, trying to figure out the make and model? The data tags on the outside are faded and peeling off...looked under the panel where the electrical comes in and all I see is a wiring diagram. Took a couple of pictures, any help is much appreciated!

    High Octane or No Ethanol?

I was in a similar situation as the OP, everything around here even the high octane has at least 10% ethanol. Just bought a brand new Stihl weedwacker (still have the new tank filled with their "motimix" 93 octane). Found a place nearby that has Puregas 89 octane. Ran that all summer and even...

That Snap On knife block set is sweet! I have one myself, gets a lot of compliments. I have it sitting off to the side in my kitchen, use it for opening mail, Amazon boxes, etc. They are pretty sharp!

Rigid or Snap on pipe wrenches ??

Maybe try and design a multi-tool that would work well for your application? Maybe something similar to what gdocktor3 posted, except with a pipe wrench end, and maybe a hammer head on it...? Wait, I should design it myself, then I could say "I'm Rich B****"!

    Can't bring toolbox to work?

NGK22R is correct....I worked at a Toyota dealership with this exact same setup. It worked out great. Working on just Toyota's it's not like you need a lot of tools. There is plenty of room for tools, parts. Plus we each had our own computer!
