ITW/redhead wedgelocks work well, Simpson Titen bolts and if using shots they should be 3" with 1" steel washer starting 6" off plate breaks then usually no greater than 24"oc for load bearing walls. Check nails box for maximum spacing as well....usually based on nail diameter!
