Ariens Snowblower Tensioner Rod Hole Hogged Out

Bearing would be overkill but a lifetime fix. Large od fender washer and some screws around the edge?

    Input on the new Husky?

Saw the Milwaukee, dewalt and the new husky and they're all junk. They don't come even close to the hf boxes let alone an old tool truck brand. Spend your money on the gerneral or save your pennies for a tool truck brand. I have the red two drawer stack from hf and I'd buy two of them before...

Matco Revel & Revel X boxes, no more 4, 5 and 6 series?

Very euro feel. I like em. Can't afford em, but I like em.

    Snow Blower Feedback Needed!

Toro 928HD. Buy once cry once. Got one last year, and I have no doubts it will last forever. More power than 9 hp would seem, nicely put together, well balanced, and less than 1500$ to my door. Will take anything I throw at it.

    Silverado Lifting Points

That's probably as good as it's gonna get. If you can't get it to fall off yarnin on the front bumper with the tires a foot off the ground it probably ain't coming off all the way up. Unless you rip out an axle or something without support that is.

    Rivet Nut Insertion Tool?

Marson are the only ones I've ever bought. Good quality, work well. Just make sure you pay attention to the instructions, if you set the riv nut too "deep" on the mandrel, you can break a mandrel. I'm sure that's the case with most however, so if you're going to be mainly using one size, get a...

    Another What is it?

Would have never have guessed that's a ny company. If you open the instructions, look at the parts breakdown. They've got their money's worth out of that one. Guessing that was last updated in the 50's

Can anyone tell me what these stands are called?

Greg smith also sells them without the pads. Takes 550 off if that helps. Didn't look up the price on the race ramps.

Vibration dampeners... Which style is best for air compressors?

Hockey pucks and elevator bolts. If one doesn't work, do two. Last shop comps we got we got just were left on the small pallet it came with. Worked suprisijgly well. Ymmv especially in a damp area, might not last too long. One of them was a 120 gal horizontal Quincy, no issues with that beast...

    Looking for quality RG6 stripper

Cable pro pro strip. I got one of these when I ripped all the junk out of my house. Works very well, and still sharp after dozens of strips. Has two cutters. One to get through the insulator, another for just the outer jacket. One shot and you're done. Works for quad sheild too.

    Reality Hot Rod Show Issues

I would like to see a real reality show. You know one where the guy has a seemingly simple hour long job. One that chronicles the journey though searching for 29 minutes for a socket he swore he had. Then the drive to the parts store for the socket he couldn't find. The struggle to remove a...

New Klein wire stripper being sold at Home Depot - Looks mean for sure

Those Kleins look nice. But. The Milwaukee romex strippers? Want! I like doing electrical, but stripping jacket is such a huge pita, and those jacket cutters don't seem to be worth a damn.

HF vs Snap On - Light Heavyweight Championship Bout

Will all four tires go flat every other day too? Good thing it will have a 90-day warranty as long as the driver keeps the receipt.

    hf screw drivers

I don't have the hf screwdrivers pictured but I mays grab a set to have some more around. Two years ago I got the black handled Williams screwdrivers, they are in face the same as snap on hard handles with a black handle with some texture instead of smooth. I got the 8pc set for something like...

old jacobsen t436g lawn mower parts help

Hydraulics are fairly simple, either they work or they don't. Either they leak or they don't. The skp model you list I've found shows as a pump. However most bidirectional automotive/ag pumps can be used as motors. If the spline is right give it a shot. Looks like you can find them used on...
