Sorry, late seeing this. Instead of using for the dust collector, I'm planning on using it on a Paasche bench booth I'm converting to 2 cartridge filters. From horizontal to vertical. Didn't want to waste the 10 bag filters I bought for $420. I will keep the dust collector w/ 10 bags for now but...

I have been gathering parts so I can change the bag filters to cartridge filters. So far I have picked up an 11 gallon air tank from Harbor Freight for $41, bought the pulse valves, the Humphreys button actuator, 3/4" black pipe, unions, elbows, reducers, and pipe *******. I will hook it all up...

He has rebuilt 3-4 compressors for me and I got the Champion compressor for free after helping put a roll up door in a shipping container for a friend. My guy's estimate was $400-$450 to repair but only charged me $200 when he dropped off. I trust him but your idea sounds good. I will ask him...

Compressor guy rebuilt my older Saylor Bealle compressor and the flywheel cracked and took a chunk where a single bolt tightens the flywheel to the crankshaft snout. I told him I cannot weld the chunk as there's no access to all sides as I needed to 'vee out'. I am thinking of just building up...

I had (2) 5hp compressors that have 80 gallon tanks and we have it hooked up to an additional 120 gallon tank we took out of the body shop that replaced with a 240 gallon tank. I can sandblast for 2 1/2 minutes then one of the compressors will start up and run for 4 1/2 minutes...sometimes both...

Was able to compare descriptions side by side on the similar looking Goyen brand 3/4" pulse valves and the more expensive one has a diaphragm for a more extreme heat operation. So compared to McMaster Carr at $57, this brand is only $28. Two for one!

On the Goyen brand pulse valve both 3/4" from Baghouse.. One is listed for $28.97(RCA 20T000) but another (RCA 20T001) is $68.87 and they look the same. I wonder what gives? Searching for cartridges, found one for $66 plus shipping and made by Clark Filters, another is only $51 and no shipping...

IDS Blast have bags for $15.10 each. I paid double! The felt looks like the duck material available at Joanne's Fabric. I can have my brother make me some as he has a nice upholstery sewing machine but I want the cartridges instead now.

930dreamer are you doing the cartridge filter change?

My new bags look different. Aren't the washers for weight? there's no eyelet on mine on either end to put on the hook and one end is open. The piece below the channel has fabric sandwiched in between the angles and riveted. Was that a gasket of some sort? Everything inside the box was torn up...

Curious why the one square piece has fabric sandwiched in between. It mounts below the channel that's tack welded about 6 inches from the bottom. Dust collector will end up with the cartridge filter conversion sometime.

Petersen dust collector I'm rebuilding but not sure if these are even the right filters. I bought 10 and with shipping, handling and tax cost me $400.
