    Advice on Ratchets

I have the 1/4" version non-QR comfort grip Bahco, and I love it! Bought mine off of eBay/Amazon.

    Socket set

I have the Tekton sets for at-home use. No skipped sizes and heavy duty blow mold cases. Great price and great customer service too!

    Milwaukee Fuel 1/4" ratchet 2556 vs. 2456

I like my older 1/4 ratchet. More clearance and lighter. Less stress on my hands, wrists and forearms. The new brushless version feels weird in my hand. Felt unbalanced.

    What tool to buy

For anything ratcheting, I say go with the big names. I bought almost all my tools pre-owned or bnew thru eBay and pawn shops.

    Alternative to Snap-On E series

Tronex is living up to the standard. Lindstrom is not that great at cutting zip ties.

    Alternative to Snap-On E series

I bought some Lindstrom and Tronex off of eBay, and it's not quite the same, especially the grip. :(

    Alternative to Snap-On E series

All my cutters and pliers are from the Snap-On E series line. Now that Snap-On has decided to discontinue most of them, I need to find an alternative, and honestly, I am getting tired of the spring breaking or losing it in general. I have heard good things about Lindstrom, Swanstrom, Excelta...

How many ratchets do you own?

I have about 10 in my work toolbox. All in 1/4" drive. All of which have different applications.

Why Metal Portable Toolbox over Plastic, or a Toolbag?

The Pelican type setup I have is a tiny 9"x7"x4" little box. The only sockets I got in there are my 1/4" drive semi deeps. Not much to show, it's all just in there. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Why Metal Portable Toolbox over Plastic, or a Toolbag?

It really depends on where it's being used and what type of tools are thrown into it. I have a Pelican type tool box to house my essentials (pliers, sockets, ratcheting screwdriver, a stubby and flex ratchet, flushcuts, zip ties, screw gun, electric ratchet), I also have a Milwaukee tool bag for...

    Best 1/4" ratchet

Re: Best 1/4" ratchet Hi, do you have the Snap-on T72 to compare it to by any chance? Been trying to get this ratchet for so long but there are no MAC trucks around me, and I've been SOL on eBay too. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Socket organizer trays that don't ****?

Yup! These are what I have except in red. Bought them off of ebay. Just search VIM MagRail TL and they should pop up. I bought 3 8" rails for about $40. Love that they are very low profile and sockets never come off. The magnets in them are crazy strong! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Stubby Reversible Ratcheting 12 point Wrenches

I work on planes as well and I have the Blackhawk by Proto set. They're stubby, reversible, and chrome (so I can see them in the dark or when it has fallen into the abyss). I absolutely love them! Ratcheting action is better and way smoother than my flex-head non-reversible Gearwrenches. Part...
