    Motofloor: The conclusion

I was first considering rubber floor carpet rolls , but changed my mind after reading about many users having mold issue under the carpet. With all the snow & salt melting inside the garage during winter, I did not want to create a new problem. I then looked at the RaceDeck tiles that are...

    Motofloor: The conclusion

:) It is so small that my with my 2006 Charger, I could barely stand between the rear bumper and the garage door ! (I also have rubber strips on the heater's baseboard to not ding the rear passenger door) It may be small, but when the temperature plunges below -25C, you sure appreciate it...

    Garage Deck vs Race Deck

BigFloor.com is at 2330 West 1300 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84104 Which is the exact same address as RaceDeck.com, and the common manufacturer Snaplock 2330 W. California Ave., Salt Lake City, Ut 84104 (According to Google Maps, California Ave. is the 1300 South) They seem to simply be brand...

    MotoFloor - Not overly impressed.

I am 90% done with the garage. The pics are in this thread: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=978344#post978344 The floor itself is finished. I still have some drywall to finish on the lower foundation wall and the lower moldings to install. It will wait until a bit later...

    MotoFloor - Not overly impressed.

Yep. Big thumbs up to SnapLock. In my case, it depends where. it seems to depend on how the tiles have settled: in areas there is little space for anything to seep through, while there are cracks between tiles in other areas: The MotoFloor tiles can always be removed fairly easily to get...

    Motofloor: The conclusion

Tx. The drain actually shows more in the photos than it does in real life. But it looked bad without the floor painted black underneath these FreeFlow tiles. ...Ben...

    Motofloor: The conclusion

I will add a sheet of gyproc to finish the wall to the floor, and paint it dark grey like the rest. The existing gyproc sheet is unevenly recessed compared to the concrete foundation wall, so it will require more finishing work than I originally expected. I decided to leave this for next fall...

    Motofloor: The conclusion

Some may have read my inital reaction when I received my Motofloor tiles: Motofloor - Not overly impressed As the title said, I was somewhat disappointed at the cosmetics of the individual tiles when I received them. Now, apart from some finishing details, my project is pretty much completed...

Help the community: Post photos of your tiles

This site has a side-by-side picture of a Motofloor tile besides a RaceDeck tile. You can clearly see the difference in finish. http://www.zr1netregistry.com/ZR1store/contents/en-us/d30.html ...Ben...

    MotoFloor - Not overly impressed.

I appreciate the offer, but I can't say yet that I am "unhappy" with the product. I did not have the space available yet to lay down an appreciable tile surface to make a decision. The cosmetics aspect of the individual tiles did fall short of my initial expectations, but I want to see how a...

    where to buy racedeck

I bought MotoFloor from BigFloor.com, which is the same company as RaceDeck (Snap Lock industries), located at the same street address in Salt Lake City. I ordered directly from them and they shipped UPS to my place, right outside Montreal. (I actually picked up the boxes at the UPS depot)...

Help the community: Post photos of your tiles

Here's the start for the thread I wish I found before I ordered floor tiles.... Hopefully, we can make it useful for all current and future shoppers by posting information about floor tiles from various manufacturers and models. My inputs alone are worthless, but the more we (you) add to this...
