Came across and pickup this Reed 105 stationary that someone spray painted it red. I’ve been cleaning it up slowly. On the side of the vise there are #s hand stamped that can just be that read “ 333 I “ was wounding what they stand for. Can upload more pictures tomorrow.

I do see one on eBay for sale a 543b main screw but doesn’t say the thread info on it

I was thinking of that might be the way to go I can’t seem to find a 1 1/8x4 on 29 degree acme thread

The nut has seen better days, I would love to but it back to use with as much orig al parts as I could. Without getting a acme rid of today’s age and making a new nut and so forth

Good to no, those are the only markings on the vise

You wouldn’t happen to remember the acme thread size would, I have a 97 with broken screw looking to replace it if I can, before I go making a new one

Thanks for the add, new to the GJ, I’ve been trying to do some research on my 140lbs roackisland 97, fixed mounted, 6”jaws. The main screw was never right since I had it and it finally went, I’m trying to find a replacement acme thread if applicable. Also would love to no the history of this BIG...
