Those sound like the two coupons you receive after registering online for the Craftsman Club for the first time.
I got those long before there even was a Tool of the Month program.

Their search engine is very slow to update, so a search result price might be lower (if a sale has expired) or higher (if a new sale has started) than the price on the product page.
These go on sale for $39.99 for fairly often, and most of the time you don't need Craftsman Club membership.
The best time to get them at this price is when there is no "Hot Buy" tag applied, so you can use discount coupons.
I usually get the correct amount of points.
For the websites:
On the final payment page, click on the Review Order button before placing the order. The amount shown under "Earn for Next order" is what you will earn. If it looks incorrect, I don't place the order.
For the stores:

So Sears used to sell them on sale for low as $14.99, but after they move all the stock over to Sears Outlet the price is $14.88? :wtf:
All the links are bringing up third-party sellers. I'm not sure if the Amazon folks have a role in setting those prices.
