    Powdercoating Oven

Would you be concerned at all that the air fryer might have air circulating through it and potentially disturbing your powder prior to it fusing?

    Oil change on cold engine

Maybe you could figure out how to warm the oil pan, before you drain the oil. It might get a few more of the particles flowing that had settled on the bottom.

Hanging Furnace with finished vaulted ceiling

What about making a right angle triangle shelf right in the corner? I'm sure you could make it out of angle iron or something similar. You might need to cushion the heater to cut down on vibration, depending on how balanced that fan is.

Adding a subpanel to the garage.

Thanks for the reply. The garage is 14/2 everywhere else and there are no additional circuit breakers. I am in Canada and this work looks to have been done in 1998. There is an inspection sticker from the local authority so perhaps this was a standard 20 years ago? Chad.

Adding a subpanel to the garage.

Hello all, I hope this question isn't too obvious, but I've read enough now to wonder if I'm under thinking the process. I just moved into a new place and the detached 22x22 garage (with a loft) has a single 10/3 wire entering the building, through a conduit. I traced the wire to the...

    Project Car Rust Prevention

Picklex 20 has worked very well for a couple friends of mine... years in a garage in a northern climate. You spritz it on bare metal with a regular spray bottle. I believe you can spray primer right over it when it comes time. Expensive but apparently worth it.

    Garage door spring replacements

I did my own this past fall on a 14X7 door and it was about $80 for the springs. If you can count quarter turns, you literally need a couple 18" lengths of rebar and a crescent wrench (socket set makes it easier) to get the job done.

    Rich's New New Garage

That's great! I started to make the same style holder from some old VW connecting rods. Could you post a detail photo of the quick release mechanism? I was trying to incorporate a couple old valves and springs for my towel rod.

Condensation on Soffits from Mr Heater?

"C" vent to "B" vent connector, or single wall to "B" vent if you like. It's sort of a sleeved piece that transitions the two styles of vent.

Condensation on Soffits from Mr Heater?

Sorry for insinuating myself here again, but I had the same issue with the venting. I ended up using two 3" elbows to get the angles which connected to a 3" to 4" increaser that I took apart right at the 4" rolled end and then riveted that piece to my C to B connector. I didn't have space to...
