Frank Mossberg Pressed Steel Socket Sets

Hello Dr. Lugnutz, Is it ok for me to post a marketplace ad on the forum? It’s not mine, it the CMB ad that the guy won’t reply to me. Maybe someone in PA would buy this for themselves. It’s a good price.

Frank Mossberg Pressed Steel Socket Sets

A spark plug socket, 1-5/32, with a closed top. Totally unmarked. Came with a mixed set of Mossberg, RAY and no name pressed steel sockets. Doesn’t quite fit the Mossberg ratchet, but you can adapt with an additional socket. Any ideas of the origin of such a socket? Also with the set was this...

Hey guys! Check this out! Never seen this approach before. Can’t find a reference to this on AA either. Apparently after you loosen the nut with the leverage of the handle you can speed turn it with the crank. Found on marketplace, guy wants $250.

I do have a second set with the brass plate inside. I was using the search function. Both this thread and everywhere. I’ll look more carefully. Thanks for your replies.

I looked for a reference to a Billings and Spencer set, didn’t find one but may have missed it. This Ratchet is not particularly unique but I think the drop forged sockets are pretty cool. The case is nice with marked openings and stamped sizes on the shank of the socket. This is also a...

Gentlemen! Thanks for your dedicated and thoughtful replies! It was a blessed encounter in Marketplace where this set was made available for a ridiculously low price. Having a keen interest in these early socket sets I realized immediately that this was a rare opportunity. I speculate that this...
