I replaced the capacitor ($13), & if worked good, there was no bulging or telltale signs on the old one. Now if I can find the limit screw to the light that stays on, would be perfect.

Here are the symptoms. It would freeze even with the chain off, but I cycled the chain back to closed, reatached chain, & actually got it to cycle up & down once, but continues to rise a foot, then stop, or go back to reverse. If I hold the remote, or door button down, it forces the door to go...

The gears move good manually, not stripped, when I removed the chain & tried to get it to work on its own, it tried to go, then buzzed. Looks like I need to troubleshoot, the motor, capacitor, & sensor board.
