    The repurposing thread

NICE! I like the fact that you left the ridges in the back of the blade.

How to turn a cheapo HF Blast Cabinet into a pretty good tool

Not sure if this will help but...... I got tired of trying to find flanges/ fittings to fit my vac. I started with PVC pipe and fittings close to the right size and heated them with a heat gun. I've been able to fit PVC into slightly smaller holes or stretch it to fit over slightly larger...

If it's held up on your headboard for two years, it's been pretty well torture tested and should last forever!

Sell Wilton whole or part out?

I also need the swivel base and the hardware between it and the vise! If you part it and don't make a deal with Richard above (or you want $5 more than he offers) lemme know......

    Motive brake bleeder question.

Regardless of the possible air contamination possible with the Motive brake bleeder or any other when used wet, or to us it dry.......... I've been using a Mityvac Vacuum Pump. It attaches to one bleeder screw, puts vacuum on that screw, and pulls fluid thru the wheel cylinder/ bleeder. The...

How to move this rock Update: Rock Moved

Re: How to move this rock I purchased a rock about six inches shorter (vertical) than yours. It weighed 1990 pounds. When I got it home and dropped it off my truck where the wife told me she wanted it, she told me I wanted it about four feet away. As I could not get between the rock and where...

Before and after of my Wilton vise

LOVE the blue! I have a Wilton that looks identical to yours but I'm missing the swivel base. Do you have a source that might have the base for me? Is the size determined by the jaw width or the jaw opening?

Thanks Chad and PCO6. I LIKE that, simple but it does everything I need except hold my chipping hammer, which has legs and likes to run away whenever I put it down......

Chad, I'd like to see your cart plans for your tombstone. I have one too but can't seem to come up with anything I really like.....

Pics: before, during, & after. Shows how Vinegar & Salt works.

This stuff works great! And cheap too! Two things you don't usually find together. GREAT pics too! Thanks OP  I caught the ingredients, mix ratio, (long) working time, and neutralization process, but I do have some questions: 1. It sounds as if it's ok to do this in a plastic...

    Hot garage

Window AC will make it really comfortable inside but it'll really jump your electric bill especially if you open the garage door while it's on. Be really sure you're willing to spend the extra bucks ($100-$200+) every month before you decide to go this route. Fans are good but worthless here...

    Wow! Thanks guys.....

    Kraeuter Ratchet

If Kraeuter was acquired by SK in the '50's, and my ratchet was definitely made by SK, why does it still say Kraeuter on it? Did SK continue with the Kraeuter name? How old do you think this is? If it's not from the Dresser era in the late '60's (cheaper line of tools to compete with names...

    Kraeuter Ratchet

I was going thru my "extra" tools yesterday and found this Kraeuter 3/8" drive ratchet. It turns smooth and free both forward and reverse and seems like it's about a 40 tooth mechanism. It's marked Kraeuter 32070 on the top and says made in U.S.A. on the underside. I found some Kraeuter tools...
