Do these cracks need to be filled?

So how are you making out? My project is coming along. 7 more cabinets to assemble but the BMW clock is up so it's on now, lol.

    RaceDeck Flooring Sale Tuesday

There are three points of contact in side stand and center stand config. And not just "much" of the weight is on the tires in side stand, most of the weight is on the tires this way, and this is a much bigger surface area to spread the weight over in most cases. There are plenty of kickstand...

Do these cracks need to be filled?

Had a little more progress today. Enclosure is all framed up. Using two bifold doors to retain access to the water heater and furnace. TV will go between the doors.

1500 sq foot of floor to epoxy, how did you deal with multiple kits?

I really wish I would have left it out, but it is a main garage that will see daily use and house two daily drivers, so I just figured it would be irresponsible. I can hear it now the first time my wife busts her *** in her heels. If the anti-skid is there I have a leg to stand on. Without it...

1500 sq foot of floor to epoxy, how did you deal with multiple kits?

Thanks. I did use it, but not very much. Half of one pack in two kits, so 1/4 pack per kit. My advice is ignore the directions on the anti-skid. It says "stir often". It should say, "Stir before you load your roller, EVERY SINGLE TIME!". There is no other way to ensure even distribution...

1500 sq foot of floor to epoxy, how did you deal with multiple kits?

Well it looks great. You planning to use the "Premium Clear"? I used two kits and wish I'd have used 4. In the areas where it went on thick it came out looking amazing.

1500 sq foot of floor to epoxy, how did you deal with multiple kits?

looks great. Sounds like your epoxyshield pro went a little further than mine did. I was only coating 650 sq/ft but I used 8 gallons; two 4 gallon coats. I was running out by the end both times.

How did you make out with the second coat?

Do these cracks need to be filled?

Thanks. Only lesson learned from today is that the clear coat epoxy instructions should say you have to restir every time you load your roller if you're using the non-skid additive. It says stir often, but that's not often enough. It needs to be EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU LOAD YOUR ROLLER, or you...

    RaceDeck Flooring Sale Tuesday

Thanks. I think so, too. Should be similar to something another member here did a while back. I'll end up with a slightly wider black boarder and shinier center section, but the floor got shinier today so I'm hoping it's a good match. Ultimately these are just expensive "hot tire pick...

    RaceDeck Flooring Sale Tuesday

Just ordered two 7'x15' pads with Graphite TuffShield centers, black FreeFlow boarders and black edge finishers. Hope it looks good. I wanted the free flow to serve as a dirt and water catcher getting in and out of our cars.

Do these cracks need to be filled?

Thanks. I was planning to let the epoxy cure and abrade it before applying urethane. I couldn't find a urethane you could apply as a "recoat" over epoxy. The product data sheets and customer service lines all said the epoxy had to be fully cured then sanded before the urethane could go down...
