    Rapid air hardpipe fitting alternative

I went with Prevost for my system. It was really easy to setup by myself, and I haven't had any issues or leaks at all.

Quiet wall fan for my garage

I mounted two 24" Big *** Fans (AirEye) on my wall. They push a lot of air and I keep them at 30% which runs super quiet. I've been more than happy with them.

    What dehumidifiers do you use?

I have a homelabs dehumidifier in my 30x30 shop, and it does a great job! I can't remember what I have it set to, but it only kicks on every once in a while. Unless it's rainy or more humid than usual. However, my shop has blown insulation and is fairly well sealed, aside from the perimeter...

What Equipment Needed To Start a Vapor blasting business?

I'm just getting into vapor blasting myself. I restore dirt bikes as a hobby, so I just picked up a 'beginner' cabinet for now. Not much to report, but there is a lot of info on youtube and such.

    Overhead doors .....long lead times.

Mine took forever to come in. Just talked to my builder today, and he said they're estimating about 6 months out.

    Help Installing Smart Dimmer Switch

I appreciate the feedback! Both switches control different light fixtures, and neither are 3 way. I think that's why I was thrown off when I saw them connected to each other. Duke, thanks for helping me identify the wires. That was half the battle. I'll give it a go this afternoon and...

    Help Installing Smart Dimmer Switch

Hi all, I'm trying to swap out a single pole light switch (left) with a smart dimmer, but I'm not sure what's going on with the wiring. I see the neutral and ground wires, but it looks like these two switches are daisy chained? Is this something I can be walked through? Or should I just call...

    Garage Fans

These are 24" fans with the wall mount. I believe the model is called "Aireye" by Big *** Fans. They're a bit pricy, but definitely good quality. I hooked them up to a switch since they are mounted so high. I tested a bunch of speeds to see what would work most of the time, and ended up...

    Garage Fans

Not sure I can help you with regards to positioning, but I just installed these two big *** wall fans in my new garage and tested them out. They are super quiet and push a ton of air! I'm going to leave them set at about 35%, which will be perfect for normal usage. I'm extremely impressed so...

Need Help, Where to Build on Small Lot?

I appreciate the input! However, against popular public opinion, I ended up going with the original design. Hopefully I won't regret it in the long run. Made a lot of progress lately, but ran into a snag with brick not being available. Getting trim work and paint done next week. Can't wait...

Need Help, Where to Build on Small Lot?

You got it! My original design is a left handed 90 degree turn. However, I started thinking about doing a straight staircase along the backwall. It would be more convenient going upstairs, but I think it would take away too much wall space for cabinets and such. The attached layout is how I'm...

Need Help, Where to Build on Small Lot?

Starting to take form! I had a couple of last minute design changes, but now that I'm able to get a feel for the space, I think it will work out well. I'm still not sure how to do the staircase, but everything else feels good.

Need Help, Where to Build on Small Lot?

Finally some progress... Getting ready to pour this week. I've gone back and forth on the design a million times, but I think I've finally landed on something that will work great for my space. My wife walked out of the house and said, "that's a lot bigger than I was expecting!"

Need Help, Where to Build on Small Lot?

Whoa! That's a really cool idea! I have zero clue on anything related to that though, and I wouldn't even know where to start. I do know that whenever I go into the cave, it's really nice and cool in there. Even when it's scorching hot outside. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Need Help, Where to Build on Small Lot?

Totally see where you're coming from. Unfortunately, there will be a loft on the left hand side, so the door can't really be any wider than it already is (12ft). Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
