I don't get why you would buy the 1/4 in Snap On, and then want to spend $50 on the 3/8. I don't know how often either will be used, but I'd much rather spend more on a 3/8 than a 1/4 personally. Do you need it now? If not, why not just save for the 3/8 Snap On?

Thanks for the feedback so far Platonic Solid! I agree about the point, the whole building shape is kind of awkward and has me struggling a bit. I played around by moving the two fixtures in the point parallel to the wall as you said, that left somewhat of a 'dark spot' in the center (par.jpg)...

I have several of both, from all sorts of age ranges. My experience is they'll both probably last forever, and you always need one with tips, or a specific angle that is slightly different than the dozen you already have...

This is an awesome thread, being busy with a new lighting layout myself at the moment this truly one of the pearls of GJ! I'm going to give Dialux Evo a shot as well. Thanks for all your work and wisdom Platonic Solid!
