The cnc isn’t necessary for the pattern. Just draw the shape you want and rough cut it out with a band saw. Then sneak up on the line with a spindle sander. I really like that table. Sent from my iPhone using The Garage Journal mobile app

Finally, some glamor shots.

I made some knobs and gave everything a few coats of shellac, lightly sanding between coats.

Next, I made the drawer and door. I kerf cut the bottom piece so get it to bend to the curved shape of the door. Then I laid all of the pieces hexagon out, and glued them together. I aligned them so they would mesh together where the drawer and door meet. Then I trimmed them to their final size...

Now for the tedious part. I tilted my table saw blade to 30 degrees, and cut a bunch of strips. I glued all of these pieces together to form long hexagon shaped pieces. I then sliced these into 1/2" pieces. I arranged these into a couple different patterns, and chose my favorite.

I trimmed those pieces to size and glued them all together to form the carcas of the tv stand. I used some of the pieces to make legs, and added a shelf and divider.
