Hi I have a compressor rated electric motor on my air compressor. The HP on the tag says SPL. What HP would that be? This motor also slows down under load and pops the breaker. Thermal breaker that is. Have checked the capacitors (start and run) and they checked good.

Hi walta, The motor will run on 240v or 120V. The motor is wired for 120V's. Ran good last time I used it.
