BluShield - Kevlar-braided Pressure Washer Hose - Beta Testers!

Any other updates on this? I received an email from Gurinder Deol from BluShield/RMX back in June 2021 with some advertising materials attached. It showed that the hose was going to be available in 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, and 1/2, with lengths up to 300 feet. A recent post in the ongoing thread over...

BluShield - Kevlar-braided Pressure Washer Hose - Beta Testers!

I'm glad to hear it's holding up well, but where does one buy the stuff in 2021?

What's the update on this product? There's no sign of it on their website.

Miracle Truss - Closed their doors

Worldwide Steel Buildings sounded familiar, so I just checked and found them in my bookmarks, with a note that they had bought out Miracle Truss when they closed their doors, and that they had had plenty of complaints against them.

Can stained/dyed/polished concrete be used in a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes, thanks. I didn't bump it myself because I'm not any further along in getting a place built. Unfortunately I'm still in 'information gathering' mode. But thanks for resurrecting it from page 36!

Metal building with loft: Gambrel roof or Gable with tall sidewalls?

From the pics I've seen of gambrels it looks like they can get by with a typical sidewall height. If I go with a gable I don't know how tall the sidewalls would have to be. I was hoping that some of you here who had pole barns built with lofts in them would have faced the same decision I am...

Can stained/dyed/polished concrete be used in a kitchen or bathroom?

Firstly, I said "stained/dyed/polished" because I don't know what the difference is between the various names I've seen for concrete that has been made to look really nice. From the reading I've done it seems like they all involve a big orbital sander, maybe have color added, and then sealed in...

Metal building with loft: Gambrel roof or Gable with tall sidewalls?

I'm in the planning stages of a 30-40' wide metal building I'm going to have built. What I'm looking for is a building with a ceiling high enough to allow having a loft in it. The loft doesn't need to have access to the complete width of the building like a full 2nd story would, but I don't...

Radiant heat in slab: do the whole slab, or use space heater for garage/shop?

Absolutely. I wouldn't try winging this all alone. I'll definitely seek expert advice.

Radiant heat in slab: do the whole slab, or use space heater for garage/shop?

Thanks. I've been in several homes with radiant floor heat, but none of the owners were the ones who had it installed in the first place so I wasn't sure on the cost.

Radiant heat in slab: do the whole slab, or use space heater for garage/shop?

Yes, same level. Sorry if my explanation of the building was confusing. I didn't mean that the entire building was 1 big open space. The garage/work area will be 'sealed off' from the rest of the building just like an attached garage is from a house.

Radiant heat in slab: do the whole slab, or use space heater for garage/shop?

I'm still in the early stages of planning a 30-40' wide insulated metal building on a slab that I'm going to have built on 5 acres outside the city limits. The building will be a man cave/barndominium/permanent residence. One end will be a two car garage with room for a work area (won't be...

My turn finally... home and garage.

Would you remember off hand how much it cost you to have the roof pitch changed to 7/12 from whatever Ideal's standard pitch is ?
