    Another "What is this?" Thread

Ok, what is it? Has a US patent and canada patent number on it but no other markings. Looks a little rough but the spring action moves smoothly.

Just about lost my faith in IR tools

I realize that, that's why I'd be willing to just buy the broken section to replace it and yes I am a mechanic by trade.

Let me know I'd like to save it if I can over buying a new one.

Yes, only other one I have is an ancient 1/2" impact gun that I use every day so I'm kind of at a 50% failure rate.

You're so hilarious smartass. I guess, it is kind of cold in the shop in the winter (about 45 ish when I come in and almost 60 when the heat goes on and it's warmed up. Well Elroy would be wrong. Why on god's green earth would I hit an air tool with a hammer? Sorry I'm not that dumb.

I wouldn't be worried about using yours, I am willing to bet one day it hit the bottom of my toolbox drawer and just slightly fractured it and after using it a few times the crack showed itself. Still kinda bugs me

I don't even have an air compressor anywhere close to that powerful lol. I've never beat on it really, plus I don't use air ratchets that much. I bought this since I thought it'd be a step up from the old craftsman I have. Was just finally reaching that "I'm about to attempt to twist out of...

Just about lost my faith in IR tools

Maybe this is just one odd manufacturer defect but I'm kind of pissed that this happened to a supposed higher end air ratchet. I bought it second hand so I don't know if or how id get any sort of replacement but i dunno. Not even sure what model it is, only identifiable marking on it is a 8R05...

    I'm Tempted, But I Smell A Fish!

This should be posted on craigslist as something like general save your *** rules lol. Didn't think of gas stations, I usually meet up at Burger King, Mcdonalds or a local supermarket for the same reasons - usually plenty of people around, well lit parking lot if it's night time and best of all...

Stanley 6 Piece Screwdriver set, mixed feelings

Saw it at Lowe's probably a few weeks back and finally got around to taking a screwdriver out of the pack. I must say, the fit and feel of them is pretty good, although a little light. Definitely wont hurt your hands though. My only complaint is, the first screw I go to take out isn't even a...

Need help on decision to sell C'man ratchets

I've still got a 3/8" Drive one of those that I just sort of keep in my box as a spare. Not in as nice of condition as yours though. I can't say I hate using it.
