Not only am I already looking for nuts and bolts to loc-tite together, I've decided I think it's time for a shave, hmmm maybe I...

    2012 Secret Santa "Helper" Thread

Hoping it signed me up. The past year or so I began riding, as I love anything and everything to do with Motorcycles. I own a 2002 K2 GSXR-600, and do everything on it, from oil changes, to coolant brake flushes, tire and wheel alignments, and electrical. All metric at the moment., I've also...

5th Annual Garage Journal Secret Santa - 2012 (Official Thread)

Count me in! I haven't been very active, but I absolutely loved doing this last year! It wouldn't let me ship overseas blank, if it's possible, it'd be much easier if I didn't have too. But if there someone without a recipient willing to do it, please don't disclude me. I'll happily do it...

Anyone have any reviews on Kobalts new Xtreme Access sockets?

I appreciate your tips Stuey! Your video is what made me realize, for only wanting to spend a few bucks, the 25$ Lowes set just won't cut it. I'd go for the bigger set, but for upwards to $100+ for the 3 size set, + extra socket sets, it's just not worth it. I'd go for the Gearwrench set or...

Anyone have any reviews on Kobalts new Xtreme Access sockets?

I think I might cancel my order and go with Harbor Freights. It goes from 10m-19mm in terms of metric. It has a 5/16th, but unfortunately that won't fit an 8mm socket :( I like the Harbor Freight version because even the 5/16th socket fits in the thin profile 5/16th ratchet without needing an...

Anyone have any reviews on Kobalts new Xtreme Access sockets?

Thanks for the input. I can't help but feel like it could just be a gimmicky ratcheting wrench. Whats the point of it, if clearance wise after an adapter the small sizes are as tall as a regular ratchet and socket?

Anyone have any reviews on Kobalts new Xtreme Access sockets?

I couldn't decide on whether to go with HF's Go-Thru Socket set for working on my '09 Kawasaki Ninja, or Lowes new Xtreme Access set, (pretty much just a spline version of Craftsman' Max Axxess. I ended up ordering the Kobalt set because it comes with more adapters, and you could buy socket...

Which Harbor Freight wrench set would be the best bet for working on my bike?

I'm working on my '09 Kawasaki Ninja 250r I was going to go with the Lowes set because you can buy other sets of sockwts toto go with it, more sizes, more drives. But the closest Lowes with it n stock is to far for me. I guess HF it is? Chrislols

Which Harbor Freight wrench set would be the best bet for working on my bike?

I have a Matco ratcheting wrench set, and those HF 17$ sets in SAE and Metric, figured with my $10 I'd putts around with another set for in home garage stuff. But I guess I might go with the Lowes set once I figure out what sizes they come in. The Lowes set and that HF set are the same price...

Which Harbor Freight wrench set would be the best bet for working on my bike?

The Lowes set seems really promising, especially with the lifetime warranty. And while I'd love to buy a whole new tool, that means I have to put out $25 out of pocket. But I don't know if it's a gimmick, it's just a thin profile ratchet.:P

Which Harbor Freight wrench set would be the best bet for working on my bike?

I have Snap on, but I have $10 to spend on a gift card to Harbor Freight, and pretty much the only thing I want for working on my bike (metric) is some wrenches, for putting around really. So for $8 (after 20%) I found this box set ratchetable wrench set...

Anyone have a HF Drill Press

http://www.harborfreight.com/5-speed-drill-press-38119.html?utm_campaign=SEO&utm_medium=Inbound_links&utm_source=linking I have this one, definitely worth what I paid. I'd highly suggest the warranty, after getting my first one I -accidentally- messed up the chuck really badly and had them...

Nutdriver that fits on 1/4" Ratchet

I have an oldschool MAC red handled version of this from the 60's/70's from when my grandfather was alive. It's still in perfect condition, although I don't use it to preserve it.

Kobalt double-drive screwdriver no longer available???

They still have the original pallet at my Lowes, the idea is cool to me, but I think the mechanism itself is cheap. If you wanna pm me I could probably pick you up one and mail you it if you pickup the shipping! Let me know!
