How tall are your ceilings 24modeltford ?

Hi everyone I am new to the forum and looking for some answers. I purchased a bm heater and found out that it has to be a minimum of 8ft from the floor to the bottom of the heater. Does anyone know why that is? I have a 28x40 shop with 8 ft ceilings i am hoping to use this unit to heat. Any...
