Stooge, Eventually that's my plan is to have the frame powedercoated/painted when I get drop members. I haven't thought that far ahead, but that's a good idea on the bed floor. Do you have a thread on your C-10, I glanced thru your thread on your projects and the skirting your front fender...

Bob, Thanks for the welcome, you're still not very far from me...just right down 99. I've always liked Visalia, good size town and great location, just a little far from my work. This forum has so many projects and ideas...it's addicting. :thumbup:

I wish I had some scrap metal to piece together something like yours, however I needed to buy metal to start my "scrap pile" so I might as well follow the plans. It's a bonus to be able to use it to lift the cab when that time comes. It's been fun to build this from scratch, as I've never built...

Calvin, Eventually I'll need to build a cab dolly also...it's going to be a few years before my truck is a frame off, built the plan is to run porterbuilt suspension components and get my truck to lay frame.

This is my first project since getting my welder working again. I've done a little welding years ago on a makeshift frame table, and aside from doing some body work on a old project, this is the most welding and fabbing I've done. It's been fun to be able to build this in my garage a little...

Great design on your welding cart, I really like the idea of a fold out welding table! Would you mind sharing what size tubing you used for your cart? I may just have to steal some of your ideas, just so you know. :thumbup:

I stumbled across this forum several months ago and have really enjoyed looking over some projects and garage/shops. They give me tons of ideas and a good source of motivation. I just recently got my welder fixed, it's a smaller unit Old SnapOn 120 volt MIG welder, but I'm looking forward to...
