If you could get access to a vehicle to put the drum in, a quick drive to the weld shop equipped with a plasma torch could make it an easy deal. Any welder/burner with balls enough to pierce a drum without purge gas gets what they gets.

My Vette is 3" (maybe) off the ground in the front but my problem is scraping the floor pan leaving my drive which is worse than yours. Yours probably won't miss clearing that by much. If it were my car I'd modify the front dam slightly so it wouldn't scrape.

I was "talked into" a 4' knee wall by my framer because it would add a lot of attic space...then he left the area after the first 8 rafters went up. As it stands right now the roof system is supported by columns but I would like to open it up. Will this design work if retrofitted to 24' wide...
