Getting ready to apply ucoat-af (Rain Forecasted)

No, I was probably 2 hours post rinse before I put it down. Anyways, the ucoatit bond coat isn't affected by the damp concrete as it is moisture permeable. In any case I had to re-mist the concrete with water as I was applying.

Getting ready to apply ucoat-af (Rain Forecasted)

Yeah, I talked to the ucoatit guys and they said just rent a dehumidifier for doing the clear and all should be good. Just have to make sure it doesn't get too arid in there for a while.

Getting ready to apply ucoat-af (Rain Forecasted)

I've decided to go with doors closed and mask off the floor there with duct tape. I guess I'll talk to ucoatit when they open about how to deal with rain/what the impact is. I live near Seattle. This time of year, you are always less than 12 hours from rain. I started when I got home from...

Can't decide on Ucoatit color Lt. Grey vs. Black.

Thanks for the replies. I suppose I'll let you know a bit about the garage. It's about 1000sqft 4 car. It's a 3 bay with one tandem being the 4th. It's all finished white walls and cieling and has 40 48'' flourescent lights. I thought about going with a white floor for that...

Can't decide on Ucoatit color Lt. Grey vs. Black.

I really like the look of the black, but I am concerned about lack of light for working under cars, finding dropped bolts, o-rings, nuts, etc. Has anyone had experience with working on a black floor?
