Thanks! I cringed at drilling into the benchtop but, it's bolted all the way thru with fender washers on the bottom and nylocks. My original plan was to put in nutserts to make it removable but figured it would just as much trouble to remove either bolted thru the bench or nutserted. Cliff

Hi Everybody, Long time reader first time poster. Just wanted to share my attempt at a vise refinish. I saved this vise from the trash pile and I'm glad I did. I thoroughly scrubbed it down, painted it with hammered silver and blue metallic, highlighted the lettering with a silver paint...
