    Gm techs please advise

You will need several shallow 21mm sockets for when you bust a couple on the rear brake pad brackets. Fan Clutch tool/Wrench or a long drift to loosen the fan clutch. This isn't tool related......But, Replace all the exhaust manifold bolts with ARP chromoly! Assuming your buying a gas 2500...

Lift concealed in a house, or house built around a lift..

The problem is getting a Contractor/Subcontractor to do the job correctly.....More often than not, Your Ice & Water shield ends up on one of the crews houses instead! One of the reason I do all my own work besides rough-in plumbing & concrete & I watch them like a hawk....They always try to cut...

Lift concealed in a house, or house built around a lift..

Unless you have to fix it in the future.......If you sell/change houses every 10-15 years, I see your point. My wife works for ServPro, Mold/Water intrusion problems where a roof meets a exterior wall is a huge problem even in North Texas...I'm sure it's 10x worse if heavy snowfall/melt is...

    2 Post Lift DMS 11000 A

I don't think all things Chinese produced products are junk, BUT....Just about all non-certified automotive lifts with overrated weight capacities come from China. Does yours have 3x3/4x4 square tubing welded to the Carriages for the lift arm mounts/pins?

Breaker Bar instead of Flex Ratchet

I use them for holding/positioning camshafts while doing Timing Belts/Timing Chains. But that's the only thing I use it for.

    Horrible Kijiji Tool Box Experience!!

I don't give legal advice! But.....If you were to remove both stickers, What could really happen? Surely you're not going to give your information to the seller! First name only & a burner cell phone? What about the millions of dollars worth of stolen/leveraged hand tools that get bought &...

Compressed Air Systems- who knows about them?

Brand new......Quality air compressors are expensive!! Saylor Beall, Champion, Quincey, & Kellogg-American. Though I don't much care for Kellogg 335 pumps....The earlier USA made 332TVX pumps were much better!

    Horrible Kijiji Tool Box Experience!!

There is a secondary ID sticker under the bottom drawer, Or one of the bottom drawers if more than one bank. There is NO explainable reason to remove the secondary sticker! Most thieves/deadbeats wouldn't know about the secondary anyway, If you run across one with a missing primary.....Ask to...

    68" Epiq... Should I?

I agree.....I keep all my testing/specialty tools in their original blow molded cases. But not in my tool box! Cabinets are far more efficient at storing these items.

    68" Epiq... Should I?

They are a complete waste of space in a tool box, If you want secure....Buy a lockable fire cabinet, You can even fasten it to the wall & build/fabricate a better locking system.

    Compressor whip hose size

Look into some SAE 100 R1AT hose with crimped ends to fit your needs, My Compressor has a 1-1/8" NPT fitting on the end of the tank I wanted to use.....Bought a 1-1/8" MPT to -12 AN/JIC fitting adapter for the hose. The other end can be whatever NPT thread you need. I like having a AN/JIC nut...

What if Cornwell had an online purchase option?

I've had the same Cornwell guy since the late 80's & is the only tool truck I maintain a RA account with. I like their Impact wobble sockets, I mostly buy rebranded stuff from him....Like Channellock, Lisle, KD, Powerprobe, Wera, IR, Gearwrench, etc. Their master fuel pressure test kit is...

Best tool box for the money

I'm also a professional auto mechanic, I can tell you from many years of experience that your current box is over-stuffed with tools you don't use very often or at all. Every Mechanic is guilty of this including myself! Blow molded cases are the biggest offender. I bought a large lockable Fire...

Help with TRX72 - very high backdrag

What do you want me to say JBH? I certainly can't compare them to Koken, Nepros, or Stahlwille as I've never owned any. What does it really matter if I don't have to put my finger on the socket to keep it from rotating the opposite direction?

    Matco BFR58

I use my 3/8" drive 1/4" bodied ratchet for tapping duty using tap sockets, Back drag doesn't matter as much as feel & control in that application. They also come in handy if you have a 16mm & up hex fastener in a tight spot.
