Ordered a set and its on the way via UPS from Hodgkins, IL, United States to local store in Los Angeles. WOW, how can they make money sending it to the local store from IL to CA by UPS. Strange, that a lot of my amazon stuff comes out of Hodgkins, IL. What's in Hodgkins?

Made in china, but gets pretty good reviews on HD and amazon. sells elsewhere for $90+. Got too many bags already, but not too bad a deal.

Local Los Angeles Pico Rivera store showed 4. Went and it took salesperson 10 minutes to locate them. Got one for $39.99 and a Micro Jig GB-1 GRR-Rip Block for $19.99. Can't put a price on safety, like they say. Made in the USA, and nice quality.

I doubt I'll be buying any more craftsman after my recently purchased 250pc usa made set came with numerous sockets with burned semi rusty interiors. Also, quite a few had little to no chrome on the interior. Posted some pics on another thread. The replacements they sent me were not a whole lot...

Bought the new 1/2 long reach flex today after watching this youtube video ratchet stress test. That is one strong ratchet that was almost unbreakable with a 4 foot breaker bar added! link below. A must see.

Received my replacement sockets from sears-apex yesterday. Requested 14 and got 11. Some looked to be in the same condition as the ones they are replacing! Unbelievable!! Could be a whole batch of the same sizes that are all burnt inside. Called apex again to find out what happened to the other...

Finally got around to taking a few pictures of my brand new made in the USA craftsman sockets with the burn marks that came in the 250pc set. About 10 percent of the sockets have burn marks on the inside. I contacted sears-apex and am waiting for replacements of about 15 sockets which I hope...

Well, my set was delivered last night. Yes it is all USA made so that was a relief. Unpacked and put everything in its place. Only one quarter inch 12 point size 9/32 was missing. The bad news is that about 13 of the sockets have burn marks and discoloration inside the bottom of the sockets...

the sunex rebate form I got from their website and I filled out asked for an original receipt but thetoolwarehouse did not include one in the box so I printed the electronic one that was emailed to me. Not exactly an original receipt but close enough.
